Get to know me - Tag

Wow, so it's been about 5 days since I last updated my blog. To get back in to a blogging mood I thought I'd do a fun tag so that you guys could also get to know me a little bit better. I found this tag online, but the answers are of course one hundred percent mine.

1. Do you have a middle name?
Yes, my middle name is Charlotte.
2. What was your favorite subject in school?
I am more of a creative person so I would say art and music were my favorites.

3. What’s your favorite drink?
Ice cold water or a cup of tea if its winter.

4. What’s your favorite song at the moment?
I don't really have a favorite, but I've been enjoying Lana del Rey's music a lot lately.

5. What would you name your children?
It would have to be something unique, and also something that would sound good in different countries, if you know what I mean. Because I'm half thai and half norwegian, it would have to be something that would sound good in both countries. I like the names; Amara and Finn.
6. Do you participate in any sports?
Right now no. I do work out at home, usually to fitness videos. I'm following this 30 day challenge atm.
7. What’s your favorite book?
I haven't read a book in a while. The last book I really enjoyed was "Neverwhere" by Neil Gaiman.
8. What’s your favorite colour?
I love blue, but I'll mostly wear neutral tones and sometimes ill add a pop of color.
9. What’s your favorite animal?
Dogs and pandas, they are both so cute.
10. What’s your favorite perfume?
Viktor and Rolf, flowerbomb.

11. What’s your favorite holiday?
Christmas, I guess or thai new year.

Yes, I love to travel and I do it as often as I can. I've been to most of Europe and Asia.

Yes, I speak english, norwegian, thai and german.
15. Do you have any siblings?
Yes, I have two younger sisters and a half brother.

16. What’s your favorite store?

I love zara, hm and gina tricot.

17. What’s your favorite restaurant?
I love italian food, so I think my favorite restaurant would be Vapiano.
18. Do you like school?
I'm not in school anymore, and to be honest: No I didn't like school. I used to be bullied quite a lot, so I don't have many happy memories of school.

19. Who are some of your favorite YouTubers?
Cassie Ho from blogilates, Kathleen from Kathleenlights and Lindy from Bubzbeauty.
20. What’s your favorite movie?

22. PC or Mac?
Mac, I have a macbook pro and I'm 100% inlove.
23. What phone do you have?
I had a Samsung Galaxy S4, but it broke for no reason and now I have to use my old i Phone 4 until I get my SGs4 repaired.

24. How tall are you?
I'm 164 cm tall aka. tiny.

25. Any pets?

Not at the moment, unfortunately. I had a little rabbit, but it escaped and never came back.

That's all for this tag. I hope you guys got to know me a little bit better. Until next time friends!

Saturday and rambling

Good morning world,

Yesterday was so busy, I didn't have the time to blog. Today I don't have anything planned, I think I might call my mom on Skype later, because we haven't talked in a while and I miss her and everyone home. Other then that I'm going to work out as usual and try to convince my boyfriend to go out with me for a walk in the city.

It's really boring to always go out alone. I think what I miss the most about home is my family and friends. I miss sitting at a cafè with my friends, have maybe a glass of wine and gossip. I miss being around my family. Here I only have my boyfriend, and I really try to get to know people here, but for some reason it's really hard. People here are very cold towards strangers (at least that's my experience) the first 6 months that I lived here when I couldn't speak german that well. I used to mix german and english, and whenever I would approach anyone they would try to avoid me or tell me that they didn't understand me.

Anyway, now I can speak German fairly well and communication is not a problem anymore really. Enough of my rambling,  right now I'm sitting in the kitchen and having a cup of tea and going through my e-mail while writing this.

I will update you guys later!

Success!

I'm back with an update.

The samsa's were a great success, so successful that I didn't even manage to take a picture of them, because we were so hungry. I've only had samsa at my boyfriends moms house, but this time we made them by ourselves in our little flat.

As I wrote earlier, I decided to add my own twist to the filling. I added in some chili, salt, pepper and cardamom. They were juicy, flavorful and the pastry was crispy. I was a little bit nervous about the result, but my boyfriend told me that it was the best samsa he's ever had. I take it as a huge compliment and I feel proud, because it's one of his favorite foods and he always tells me that it reminds him of when he used to live in Russia as a child.

We are both very full now, he almost ate the entire batch and now we are laying in bed. I think I have to work out extra tomorrow, because I ate so much food and I cheated on my diet a bit when I had ice cream earlier.

I'm going to sleep soon, so I'm leaving you with this little collage.

Summer days

What an amazing day it has been you guys!

I've been outside enjoying the warm April weather all day.
It was so warm outside I could wear my bikini without freezing. I had some ice cream, listened to some music and now I'm about to do my workout for today. I usually do my workout in the morning, but today it was more tempting to be outside. It's amazing what a little sunshine can do to my mood.

After my workout my boyfriend and I will be making something called 'samsa'. 'Samsa' is basically minced meat with onions wrapped in a flaky pastry. My boyfriend is half Russian and was having a craving for it, but to be honest it's not my favorite dish to eat. I've had it before and in my opinion it's a little bit too boring for my taste. I think I will add my own twist to the recipe, maybe add in some chili and other herbs to make it more flavorful. Other then that I think we will just chill out on the couch and watch some Netflix (surprise!)

Hope you had a great day!

Casual luxe

Hey guys and girls,

I'm so freakin' bored. I've been watching Netflix for a couple of hours, I had my walk, did my workout, I cleaned the kitchen, made dinner (homemade pizza) and now I'm back on the internet again.

I don't know what to do? I've created some more fashion collages and thought I'd post them here to give you guys some inspiration and ideas of my taste in fashion. I am not an expert, I just love reading fashion magazines and online blogs. I've always thought that fashion is a way of expressing yourself without saying a word. I feel like you should dress in whatever you like regardless of trends.

Creating this collage was so much fun, you can mix and match whatever you want and it's like an online wardrobe with endless of options - me likey!

Maybe this could be my thing, you know? once or twice a week I could post these collages, maybe even more often.. With every look there is a short story, I hope you guys enjoy.

. . .

"Casual luxe"

Emma lives in New York, she is 22 years old and works as a model.
She is fashionable and likes to show of her long and lean legs. Emma lives in an apartment with her pug and when she's not modeling she enjoys spending time with friends, partying and working out to keep her body in top shape. She loves to mix casual pieces with luxury items and add that extra something like a pop of color or statement jewelry.

Fitness: day 3

Wooh, I'm finally done with my workout for today and this time it was a combination of total body pilates and how to achieve a "bubble butt".

I'm following the "beginner's 2.0" plan from Cassey Ho and all I have to say is; so far so good. I'm only on day 3 and I can already feel a slight difference. My core feels stronger and my breathing is getting better. I can do some of the moves that I struggled with on the first day, so because of that I'm very motivated to keep going and pushing myself also because I know that it can only do good for my body. What I also love about this type of workout is that you can do it at home (for those of you who are too shy to go to the gym) and that you don't need any special equipment except for a yoga mat (I'm using a beach towel)

Right now I'm going to get ready and then go for a walk. I can't wait for the summer to arrive, yay.

I wish you all a pleasant day!

The sun is up

Good morning/day everyone,

It's almost noon here in Germany and I'm relaxing in bed at the moment checking out facebook and weheartit. I always use weheartit when I need inspiration, there are so many different quotes and pictures on there.

I have no special plans for today other than to work out to Cassey Ho and enjoy the nice but windy german weather. I might watch a few episodes of "American Horror Story" later with the boyfriend. I'm currently watching season 4 and it's really good so far. The show is super creepy and scary, something that's quite unusual for me to watch because I hate watching horror movies. I get nightmares for days, haha. I think it's time for some tea and breakfast now.

What are you guys doing today ?
